United, we can make this dream a reality
Sports Officials from NBA, NFL and MLB take time out to meet with kids in Surprise, Arizona

Sports Officials Care, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization committed to uniting sports officials from all sports, educating teens and giving back, is proud to announce it is partnering with Refr Sports – a scheduling platform used by referees, assignors, tournament organizers and sports organizations worldwide.
Sports Officials Care hosts clinics for high school students across the country with the goal of inspiring teens to work as referees and sports officials in their community. Refr Sports is an app that can help officials find work in their community.
“We are incredibly proud to partner with such an amazing organization focused on supporting, protecting, and giving back to officials,” Huck Sorock, Co-Founder & CEO, Refr Sports said. “While our platform serves as an operating system for scheduling, payments, and compliance, Sports Officials Care is doing the work that truly matters—showing officials they’re valued as people first. With shortages at higher levels of the game and the average age of officials continuing to rise, this partnership is a natural fit. We’re excited to work together to elevate the care and support officials deserve and to help combat these challenges by making a meaningful, lasting impact across the industry.”
“We are thrilled to connect with Refr Sports and their team,” Sports Officials Care Executive Director Jennifer Skolochenko-Platt said. “There is a national shortage of sports officials, and through these clinics, we are working to motivate the next generation to get on the field. Historically, it has not been easy to navigate the world of assignors and getting work as officials. This is a great way for referees at all levels to get in the game.”
